Car #2 E. Evans / D. Barritt (Ford Fiesta WRC): “Not easy. Quite good fun, but quite different to what I remembered the stage from last year. Quite hard packed and loose in comparison. We will see how it evolves for later on”.

Car #11 C. Breen / S. Martin (Citroën C3 WRC): “I had a spin, quite close to the end. There was a bump in the middle of the corner, I do not know maybe I was a bit fast, I lost the rear. And then I had to do a three-point turn”.

Car #12 M. Ostberg / T. Eriksen (Citroën C3 WRC): “Yeah, it felt a lot of better now. I do not know why Elfyn is so fast from first of the road. These stages are very tricky, it is impossible to understand how they develop especially this one. When you are rallying on the beach, you do not know what to do, is it sun cream on the floor? maybe it makes it more slippery”.

Car #6 H. Paddon / S. Marshall (Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC): “Just managing the gap. 10s is reasonably comfortable in these stages. Gotta be smart, of course you like to drive faster but the points are more important”.

Car #9 E. Lappi / J. Ferm (Toyota Yaris WRC): “The first pass is nice on this stage, the second pass maybe not so enjoyable. The view is so beautiful, it is really nice to have the end of the rally over here”.

Car #7 J.M. Latvala / M. Anttila (Toyota Yaris WRC): “It was very very frustrating yesterday, I really wanted a podium for this rally before the summer break. But sometimes it does not go as you wish. The feeling was good yesterday. Coming to this day, the target is to get a good feeling and you can get more points in the power stage, it motivates more for the future”.

Car #5 T. Neuville / N. Gilsoul (Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC): “I just try to keep it on the road and push it has much as I can without making stupid mistakes. I feel comfortable, the car is behaving really nice I do not know if it is enough. It is really difficult to say because at that level everybody is pushing hard and fighting against Ogier is not easy, probably the most difficult”.

Car #1 S. Ogier / J. Ingrassia (Ford Fiesta WRC): “It is tight, we will have to push until the end. These stages are all about fighting hard with the car. It was OK, you can always be a bit more aggressive but it is a lot of risk. For sure I will push”.

Car #8 O. Tanak / M. Jarveoia (Toyota Yaris WRC): “The drive was OK, just not full attack, not full risk, but still trying our best. It looks like it is possible to pass Kopecký for eighth overall, so we need to get going”.

Car #3 T. Suninen / M. Markkula (Ford Fiesta WRC): “Plan is to get experience, it would be nice to get good times, it is difficult if you are driving a bit careful. In these narrow roads you need all the centimeters to go fast. I will try to get a better feeling for the next stages”.

Car #4 A. Mikkelsen / A. Jaeger-Synnevaag (Hyundai i20 Coupè WRC): “Trying to get a feeling before the power stage. For sure there is room for improvement. It is the first time I pushed on these stages, it is nice to see how it is when you are going fast. I think we can definitely push in the power stage. Saving the tyres for that basically”.

Car #31 J. Kopecky / P. Dresler (ŠKODA Fabia R5): “A fight against WRC cars is not possible in an R5. We cannot lose our position. I am trying to see all the rocks to avoid, we have to come to the finish and bring the car home. ”.

Car #21 M. Prokop / J. Tomanek (Ford Fiesta RS WRC): “Nothing happened, we got stuck on the bush and couldn’t get it back. I made corner and I turned too late not nice but what can we do?”.

Car #39 N. Ciamin / T. De La Haye (Hyundai i20 R5): “It is OK, this stage is quite difficult. There are already a lot of stones, so the second pass it will be really rough. Now we know that Veiby is faster, we just got through and we are having a lot of fun. We would like to bring the car home in second, but it will be tough”.
