Car #2 E. Evans / D. Barritt (Ford Fiesta WRC): “It is obviously very different to what we saw first thing this morning. Very abrasive. Tyre wear should be OK, I think they will probably get through the loop no problem, for sure the guys pushing might not have enough thread left for the power stage, who knows”.
Car #11 C. Breen / S. Martin (Citroën C3 WRC): “Not definitely not as I wanted. I am sure everybody will save the tyres here. But I want to try and enjoy the stage and driving as much as I can”.
Car #12 M. Ostberg / T. Eriksen (Citroën C3 WRC): “Absolutely, a lot of very positive things. Hayden was going really well today and we are struggling a bit. We have to manage and get through. Conditions are still very tricky out there, so it is all about taking it calm and getting to the end”.
Car #6 H. Paddon / S. Marshall (Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC): “Reasonably safe margin. We need to stay focused and have a clean run . Very hard on the tyres in this one so we tried to look after them At least we have something left for the last one”.
Car #9 E. Lappi / J. Ferm (Toyota Yaris WRC): “We knew it was rough, everything under control in my opinion. It is OK. Nice with no drama, still 7kms to go, let’s see”.
Car #5 T. Neuville / N. Gilsoul (Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC): “I made two mistakes, I overshoot the ruts and I was once too close to the wall and I lost a bit of speed. We going to go for it until the end”.
